Los Angeles is a city dedicated to sparking the imagination and it has inspired countless artists, designers, and creatives. These "100% LA" billboards celebrate and reflect back the energy and vibrancy of Southern California.
Look up! As you are driving around Los Angeles you might see something more than the latest tv reboot. Brooklyn-based nonprofit SaveArtSpace partnered up with Otis College of Art and Design for a public art exhibition entitled "100% LA," a celebration of art and design inspired by the city of Los Angeles.
Curated by college president Bruce W. Ferguson on the occasion of the Otis College Centennial, the selected artists include Otis College alumni Kohshin Finley (BFA Communication Arts ‘12), Sofia Enriquez (BFA Communication Arts/Illustration ’14), Tanya Thoma (BFA Fine Arts ’18), Matthew Penkala, Academic Projects Manager, and current Toy Design student Uyen Nguyen. Artists Olivia D'Orazi, Vikesh Kapoor, Leafy Yeh, Vakseen, and Hideyo Kameda were also chosen for the project.
